Looking for a 16-day long culinary adventure in Conde Nast Traveler’s Asia’s Next Great Foodie City? The Penang International Food Festival (PIFF) 2021 has a plate with your name on it.
Penang stands out as a must-visit destination for so many reasons. Still, above all else, our internationally recognised street food takes the cake!
Penang’s legendary foodscape is making headlines around the world. In 2018, Conde Nast Traveler named Penang as Asia’s Next Great Foodie City. In 2019, CNA Luxury featured Penang’s growing fine dining scene while Mirror Online listed Penang as one of the World’s Top 30 Best Cities for Street Food.
We’re all quite proud of our old-timey tastes, international spreads, and modern culinary creations — that’s why we celebrate them with a grand food festival to satisfy our every sweet and savoury whim!
With a culinary focus on the wide-ranging cuisines that make Penang the food paradise of Asia, this food festival invites visitors to savour Penang’s diversity through the state’s best-tasting offerings. Penang’s streetside comfort food, coffee shop staples, gourmet restaurant creations, and sizzling barbecue will be just a few of the options available at the food festival.
This year’s Festival is not going to be as you remember it. We’re introducing a rotating lineup of culinary curiosity, distinctive sceneries, and marketing strategy that are sure to amaze, delight and astound!
The Penang International Food Festival 2021 is organised by TLM Event, endorsed by the Penang State Government and is fully supported by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP), Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) and Penang Global Tourism (PGT).
